The design of the dragon chair is more important than the spirit and simpler than the form, striving to achieve a resonance between movement and stillness, with a balance of stability and momentum in its agility. It aims to inherit the millennium old Eastern culture and create a design that can resonate with the Chinese people and even the world

The inspiration comes from the ancient knotting and recording of events, as well as the evolution of Chinese knots. Knots are the precursor of writing, the memory and wisdom that condense time, and possess the power to connect all things. "Knots" are forms with vitality, such as knotting, threading, weaving, winding, pulling, and repairing, with each rope being tied one by one. The simpler the knot, the more complex it becomes, and it can be completed in one go with endless changes. Jieyi will explore the roots and direction of Eastern culture through modern design language, using cultural symbols that grow from the soil of the East.

The inspiration for Hercules Chair comes from the Chinese mythological story of the "strongman" Kuai'e, who literally translates to "giant ants" - brave, agile, and hardworking. The ant chair stands on the unique form and cultural symbol of its own nation, permeated with Chinese mythological speculation. Based on an understanding of its connotation and spirit, it presents an attitude oriented Chinese design with the principles of minimalist design.

The Monkey Chair is based on the "Monkey King" Sun Wukong, who is naturally intelligent, lively, and loyal. It is a representative of wit and bravery in Eastern culture, and is the image of fearless exploration in mythological stories. The designer condensed the characteristics of monkeys into the form of furniture, with a simple appearance and a simple expression.
